Puppet Theater highlights creative gov’t communication at CESB learning session

MANILA – The Puppet Theater Group of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Creative and Production Services Division showcased one of the agency’s signature communication strategies during the First Quarter Human Resource Management Fellowship Meeting and Learning Session of the Career Executive Service Board (CESB).

The event was held on Feb. 27, 2026 at the PIA Auditorium.

Through an engaging performance, the PIA Puppet Theater demonstrated how creative storytelling can be used to effectively communicate government programs and development initiatives to various audiences.

Originally established as a development communication platform, the PIA Puppet Theater aims to promote national transformation by instilling values among children and young audiences.

Over time, the group has expanded its approach by crafting relatable stories and messages that help communities better understand, appreciate, and apply government programs—particularly at the grassroots level.

The initiative highlights how innovative communication strategies can help make public information more accessible, engaging, and meaningful for Filipinos.
